The Status Kuo Brand
It all started with an Independent Study I did at Skidmore College, tackling the dichotomy between craft and fine art through the medium of silkscreening. I did a gallery show as my final project for the class, creating a brand with tons of apparel, a photoshoot, a catalogue, and sold the pieces, in contrast with more traditionally fine art installation pieces using fabrics and silkscreening. That was in 2016. Since then, I have continued creating clothing designs as a hobby, along with doing some photoshoots and am planning on doing some charity events in the future with any of the profits that this brand can make.
